Spice Up Your Back to School Look

Hello Readers,

It’s that time of year again… back to school! Everyone wants to change up there look a little before the new school year starts, but most people don’t want the commitment that comes with a new color or highlights! So today we are going to talk about a few little things you can do to spice up your look!

1. Bangs
Bangs are something you can do to that can make a huge difference. It only takes five minutes to do! There are so many options to with bangs …You can do a longer side swept bang, a short side swept bang, a textured side wept bang, a blunt straight across bang, or even a textured straight across bang! SOO many options! But you must remember that some bangs are not for everyone! A lot of it is based on your face shape, hair texture, and your styling routine! You should ask your hairstylist if its
a good idea for you or not!

NOTE: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not try to cut your own bangs! You have no idea how many times clients come in and say I tried to cut my own bangs and it didn't turn out too well.

2. Layers
Another easy way to change things up are layers. You go with long subtle layers, textured shorter layers, or anything in between. Layers can help to lighten up thick hair and make it more manageable. They can also make thin hair look fuller. And you can put layers in any hair length… It doesn't matter if its down to your butt or if it is a pixie cut!
3. Shaping your eyebrows
Have you ever seen Princess Diaries?

I remember watching that movies when I was growing up. And that is a perfect example of what shaping your eyebrows can do for you. They can change your overall look drastically! But please remember that if you are going to do this at home… DO NOT go crazy with the plucking! I don’t want you to end up with one hair all the way across! If you are unsure of how to shape your eyebrow book an appointment with your hairstylist and let us get your shape going and you can always maintain at home by tweezing the stray hairs here and there!
